The International Documentary Film Festival of Archaeology (MFAF), held since 2010, is a unique biennial event dedicated to exploring cultural heritage and archaeological themes. This festival, located in Split at the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments, offers an extraordinary cinematic experience against a rich historical backdrop.

MFAF highlights the importance of UNESCO sites in Croatia while promoting Croatian documentary films on the European stage. In addition to the competitive program, the festival features presentations of innovative projects from domestic and European museums. Films compete for awards from an international jury and the audience, with free entry and Croatian subtitles.
