Founded in 1945, Sukhishvili quickly gained a reputation that spread worldwide. With over 300 regional and worldwide tours and approximately 20,000 performances, they have captivated over 90 million people, positioning Georgian dance on the world map.

The ballet ensemble always performs accompanied by its own orchestra, consisting of musicians who are trained for generations to play traditional Georgian instruments.
