The TNT Sports Climbing Club is organizing a one-day recreational climbing competition, "Marjan 2025," which will take place on April 5, 2025, in the Marjan Park Forest area in Split, at the legendary Šantine Stine.

This event holds special significance as it marks and celebrates the long-standing tradition of sport climbing in Split, which dates back to 1986 when one of the first climbing competitions in the world was held on Marjan. The goal is not only to preserve and nurture this rich tradition but also to further popularize sport climbing among the local community, young people, and all nature and active lifestyle enthusiasts.

"Marjan 2025" will be a recreational competition bringing together climbers of all levels, from recreational to experienced competitors. Participants will have the opportunity to test their skills and endurance in a full-day challenge, from dawn to dusk. Climbers will collect points based on the difficulty of the routes they complete, with prizes awarded to the best performers.

In addition to the competitive aspect, the event will also emphasize the social and educational segments. Visitors and nature lovers will have the chance to try climbing with the expert help of instructors from local clubs, and in collaboration with the Public Institution Marjan Park Forest, educational content will be provided about the protected flora and fauna of Marjan and the importance of preserving the natural environment.

The entire program and the competition itself will be supervised by the collaborators from the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS).
