PLACe Market is a national project for the tourist revitalization of Croatian markets in the evening hours. Since markets are known as the belly of the city, this project turns markets into a natural stage once a week in the evening, where gastronomic traditions and offerings of the cities hosting the event are presented, revitalizing markets as places for gathering and socializing.

From farm to table, or in this case from field to street food, is the guiding principle of the project, involving the most important national chefs.

PLACe Market encompasses several segments of the tourist offer – cultural, gastronomic, wine, and entertainment – and presents the entire Croatian tradition while emphasizing the connection between the market, tourism service providers, tourists, and local guests.

PLACe Market helps preserve the authenticity of each Croatian gastronomic region and contributes to branding Croatia as a gastronomic tourist destination.

PLACe Market belongs to the global category of "night markets," which exist around the world, combining local products, local producers, local food, local culture, souvenirs, as well as local street entertainers and performers.
