The well-known Andersen fairy tale about the Queen with a heart of ice, the girl Gerda, and her friend Kay, about the immense power of friendship and love more potent than the shards of any icy mirror, has been beautifully set to music by the brilliant and simultaneously accessible yet virtuosic Davor Bobić in seven scenes. These scenes will immerse us wholeheartedly into a time when we were still untouched by time and life, believing in goodness and happy endings to all adventures.

Like the now-mythical Nutcracker, Bobić's Snow Queen could become a symbol of the holiday season when we eagerly rush toward the new, which we will shape with our own decisions and strength. The choreography and direction of the ballet are crafted by a master of his art, the brilliant artist Svebor Sečak.
